Who we are

Mayhem Cut is a video channel run by Lucas Reygrobellet, an individual based in France. Contact: lucas@reygrobellet.dev.

This website

This site has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics. The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser) for up to 30 days to keep the site running and secure, then deletes them.

The Mayhem Cut publishing tool and YouTube

We use a private tool, run on our own server, to upload our videos to our own YouTube channels. It uses YouTube API Services. It is not offered to anyone else: the only account that ever signs in to it is ours.

When we connect one of our channels, the tool receives from Google:

• a token that lets it upload videos to that channel (scope youtube.upload);
• the channel's ID and name, read once to label the connection (scope youtube.readonly).

The token is stored on our own server, in a file only that server's account can read. It is never shared, sold or sent anywhere except back to Google to upload a video. Nothing else from the Google account is read or kept.

Access can be removed at any time from Google account permissions. Removing it, or asking us to, deletes the stored token within 7 days.

By using YouTube through this tool, the YouTube Terms of Service apply, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

People who appear in our clips

Our clips show public moments from public live streams, credited to the streamer. A streamer who wants a clip removed can write to the address above and we take it down the same day.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr). Write to lucas@reygrobellet.dev.
